【摘要】:Frequently,glassorotherglazingorpanelmaterialsarestructurallyadheredwithasealanttoametalframingsystem.Thesealantsusedfortheseapplicationsaredesignedtoprovideastructurallinkbetweentheglazingorpanelandtheframingsystem.Althoughthistestmethodisconductedatoneprescribedenvironmentalcondition,otherenvironmentalconditionsanddurationcyclescanbeemployed.1.1Thistestmethodcoversalaboratoryprocedureforquantitativelymeasuringthetensileadhesionpropertiesofstructuralsealants,hereinafterreferredtoasthex201C;sealantx201D;.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSI(metric)unitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundvaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;TwoISOstandardsareknownthatdevelopsimilarinformationtoC1135;ISO8339andISO8340.
