【摘要】:Thispracticeestablishesanddefinestherequirementsforapplyinghumanengineeringtothedevelopmentandacquisitionofshipsandmarinesystems,equipment,andfacilities.Theserequirementsareapplicabletoallphasesofdevelopment,acquisition,andtestingandshallbeintegratedwiththetotalsystemengineeringanddevelopment,andtesteffort.Itisnotexpectednorintendedthatallofthehumanengineeringactivitiesshouldbeappliedtoeverymarineprogramorprogramphase.Therefore,theseactivitiesshallbetailoredtomeetthespecificneedsofeachprogramandthemilestonephaseoftheprogramwithintheoveralllifecycle.Thistailoringshallbeperformedbytheprocuringactivityorbythecontractororsubcontractorwiththeassistanceandapprovaloftheprocuringactivityinordertoimposeonlytheessentialhumanengineeringrequirementsoneachprogram.GuidanceforselectionofonlytheessentialrequirementsiscontainedinAppendixX1.
